Job Description: Forklift Operator – Raymond Reach, Counter Balance Operator.

Shift: Day, Afternoon & Night

Location: Etobicoke, North York, Mississauga & Concord

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Safely drive counterbalance to retrieve and put away skids
  • Preparation of orders for shipment ie. Build, wrap and strap skids
  • Assist at Receiving/Shipping as and when required
  • Unloading of trucks
  • Complete all relevant paperwork
  • Loading of trucks
  • Obtaining orders and arranging to ship
  • Comply with all Procedures that relate to the Position and Shipping & Receiving Departments
  • Store all finished goods in the storage area
  • Responsible for keeping the Shipping/Finished Goods Area clean
  • Maintain Housekeeping Log for Receiving & Shipping Area
  • Maintain and complete daily the Prestart Up Inspection on the forklift
  • Adhering to all health and safety regulations of the company
  • Additional responsibilities as directed

QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 2 years’ experience as a forklift operator on required machine
  • Pass forklift drive test
  • Good command of English-reading, writing, speaking
  • Ability to work day, afternoon and night shift as well as weekends shift if needed
