- STAFF NOTICE REGARDING CHEQUE PICK UP
- DO NOT COME TO OUR OFFICE TO PICK UP YOUR CHEQUE UNTIL Further Notice
- This week we start to reduce the need for anyone to travel to our office and provide social distance, we have decided to mail this weeks cheque to you if you do not have a Direct Deposit with TD bank
- Canada Post tends to have a quick turn around so you should see the cheque arrive at your address we have on file by Friday or next week Monday
- If you had another cheque in the office that you did not pick up from February 8 to March 7, it will be send out separately to the address on file as well, so look out for that in your mail

With the current news that the Coronavirus has become a pandemic and confirmed case in Toronto and 59 cases in Ontario, we would like to share some information with you at this time. You can find updated information on Public health Ontario and Government of Canada websites.
- Public Health Ontario confirms Ontario is low risk at this time.
- Only individuals who have fever, cough, trouble breathing or pneumonia and have had exposure in China, Korea, Italy or Iran should be tested
- Call your health care provider to be directed where to go to be tested
- If you have returned from China, Korea, Italy or Iran you must self-quarantine for 14 days and have a return to work note from a doctor
- If you have fever, cough, trouble breathing or pneumonia call your doctor to see where to go get medical attention
- Do not go to work if you have a fever, cough or shortness of breath, you must stay home for 14 days in self isolation and have a return to work note
- Do not come to our office if you or someone you live with have a fever, cough, or shortness of breath, call us to make arrangements for direct deposit or cheques mailed
- Employees can take an extended unpaid leave to cover your time off (Family Medical Leave, Family caregiving leave, critical illness leaves, or declared emergency leave)
- You will not lose your job if you need to stay home if you are sick, quarantined, self-isolating or refuse work. Please call to let us know if you are home sick 416-398-3873
Remember good hand hygiene:
- Wash hands often with soap and water or use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer
- Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth with unwashed hands
- Avoid close contact with people who are sick
- Stay home if you are sick
- Cover coughs or sneezes into arm with sleeve
- Clean and disinfect frequently touched objects and surfaces
- Avoid social contact (ie. No Kissing, hugs, handshakes, high fives, stand a meter away)
Stocking up items at home is not only necessary because you may need to self-isolate. Having these supplies on hand will ensure you do not need to leave your home at the peak of the outbreak or if you become ill. Gradually increase your supply each week of…dried pasta and sauce, prepared canned soups, canned vegetables and beans, toilet paper, facial tissue, feminine hygiene products, diapers and formula (if you have children who use them), pet food (if any).
